Saturday evening the 2016 Community Clubs Victoria Awards were held. Recognising the best Clubs in Victoria across a range of categories. The club had some fantastic results with the largest number of award entries ever received by CCV we were lucky to be finalist in 5 categories.
The Ballarat Golf Club was awarded as winner of two categories, Club Employee of the Year (Natalie Purtell) and Best Community Support Project for the ‘Give Golf a Go Day’ as part of the PGA National Futures Event.
The Club Employee of the year award recognised efforts in exemplary service levels and a desire to up-skill within the industry.
The Best Community Support Project was awarded to the club that could demonstrate the best project that provided a significant benefit to the broader community. This is the second award this event has won, taking out a Professional Golf Association Award for the best PGA professional involvement late last year.
The club is thrilled to have been recognised with these awards and congratulates Natalie on receiving her award up against the best club employees in the state. It is a great credit to what we do here and we thank Natalie for being such a great leader within the club.
We also received nominations as finalist in Best Golf Club, Best Regional Club Bistro and Best Regional Gaming Club.
